Got up and hit the ground running today
We got picked up from our hotel and taken to the pier where our jet boat was a waiting us. Hopped on and it was a bumpy very fast ride (but worth it in the end) to Maya bay (the place where the “the beach” movie was shot), it was so pretty just like out of a beach\ jungle level in Sonic the hedgehog.
Then we went to Monkey beach, the monkeys are so funny and you get to hand feed them. I kick one by accident, silly monkey snuck up behind me
After the monkeys they showed us the Viking cave which as its name obviously hints at was inhabited by Viking at one stage in history.
Now onto Phi Phi island where we had a smorgasbord lunch and then we walk around for a bit through this little town on the island. It was kind of the like a little Noosa but without the hippy yuppie shops in the town.
Now for the bit I was worried about but ended up having a lot of fun at was snorkeling in a reef just off
Loh Samah Island. Never snorkeled before but once I got used to it I found it great lots of colorful fish and I got so many good under water photos.
The final leg of the tour was free time at an island called Khal Nok, the island had super white sand and we feed fish bread.
All in all a great tour.
We got dropped back at the hotel late in the afternoon so we decided to have a little rest and freshen up before going back to the markets, little did I know Felicity was about to hatch a evil plan on me. We were walking around and Felicity decided to get one of these cheap facials they have over here so I walk into the store with her (ready to be bored) and then before I know it she says “I’ve paid for both of us” and I’m all of the sudden laying in a chair with a Thai woman rubbing my face. It was ok but now I have lost my Y chromosome and hope I can find him soon, I now know how Vegeta felt wearing that pink shirt.
Day 3 done!
Hope home is still great, tell Banjo I miss him
