Buddhas and Butterflies

Today Dad would have been proud, covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of things.

Firstly got up and went and had a nice breakfast then went and had a swim at Patong beach which is kind of like a Hawaiian tourist beach only with poor people selling stuff at it. It was really nice swimming weather so once we finished there we went back to the hotel and tried out the hotel pool which was good as well.

All swimmed out we went and hired and tuk tuk (for $30) and this little Thai man drove us around all day and waited while we went and saw different sites.
Firstly we went to the Big Buddha I really enjoyed the drive up to it. The big Buddha is this giant white Buddha getting built on one of the highest hill in Phuket, very impressive and has a great veiw of the coastline from up there.

After that went to 2 massive jewelry stores (Mum would have been lost for hours in them) the second jewelry store clamed to be the biggest jewelry store in the world it was big and had sharks swimming in a tank in it.
Then we went to Butterfly gardens a place the breeds butterflies and where you can walk among lots of butterflies.

The day was nearly over so tuk tuk driver took us back to the hotel and then we went out brand shopping (cough fake cough) Got so good stuff to Jono, Giles & Eleanor

Also saw a midget with some lady he must of brought here, funny stuff

So day 2 is all done hope very thing is good at home

Taxi from the airport had a sport exhaust…….. must be Phuket

The flight so good we had a seat free next to us, I watched the movies the social network and the legends of the guardians also saw out the window a cloud that looked like a nuke cloud; Awesome!

So landed in Phuket the place is like being in one of those documentaries you see on foxtel.
The burasari hotel is very nice and close to the beach but a little bit of a walk from the main market Bangler rd

Also Dad you would like it, their is real parrots walking around and orchids everywhere.

In Phuket they seem to ride on scooters and the only cars they have are Honda civics (just so you know Matt)

After arriving in the hotel we went to a walk around the markets and had some dinner (SO CHEAP) then booked our tours for Phi Phi island and Elephant rides. Also Mum they have a big shopping centre and massive factory outlet store here that you would love.
Felicity's Feet have now been cleaned by the flesh eating fish, the price of beauty
Say hi to everyone

Oh I got smacked on the bum in the first 2 minutes of walking around town (white male coming through)
